In 2017-18 I visited Pakistan and Nigeria to help document the stories of children who missed out on their education because of their religion or belief.

These stories helped form the basis of the ‘Faith and a Future’ campaign.

Through this short film I retold the stories that I had heard in Pakistan as if they were happening in a UK school. This helped a UK audience connect with the issue and drove home the message, ‘It’s not happening here but it is happening now’.

In February 2019 representatives from the Department for International Development (DfID) agreed to re-examine their position in light of the evidence brought to them by the Faith and a Future campaign.
